Our involvement began earlier in the month during the human library research session, where we had the opportunity to interact with secondary students participating in the Impact Lab. In addition to our interactions, our partner, Yvonne Ku, served as one of the judges for the research papers submitted by the students. The papers covered a wide range of topics, reflecting the diverse interests and concerns of the next generation of legal thinkers. This role allowed us to witness firsthand the creativity and depth of analysis that the students brought to their projects.
The closing ceremony held on 30 August 2024 was a celebration of these efforts, bringing together students, educators, and legal professionals to recognise the hard work that had gone into the programme. Our partner, Yvonne Ku, was delighted to present the award for the Best Research Paper alongside Ms Darcy Davison‐Roberts, Senior Lecturer of the University of Hong Kong.
